Arroyito Dúo was born in 2014. They play an argentinian folk repertory and original songs. They are Victoria de la Puente (voice) and Nehuén Rapoport (guitar and voice). They are two young graduates from  Popular Music School of Avellaneda in the Province of Buenos Aires. An essential part of these musicians is their interest  in the exchange with other cultures through music and travels, and in this way, they broadcast argentine music to different places in the world. Arroyito (Little stream) is a dynamic project. They have travelled through a large part of Argentina and they played in concerts in important  places as “Centro Cultural San Martín” (Buenos Aires), "Camping Musical" (Bariloche), "Sala Islas Malvinas" (Argentine Consulate in Barcelona, Spain ) y "Colegio Mayor Argentino" (Argentine Consulate in Madrid, Spain). They have done three international tours. One in Latin America (2014- 2015- 2016) and two in Europe (2018- 2019). They have shared big stages with great artists like Peteco Carabajal, Jose Luis Aguirre, Mono Banegas, Jana Banegas, Andrés Pilar, and others.

    Arroyito has two EP:  Todo tan calmo (Everything is calm) - Buenos Aires, 2014- and Moray -México DF, 2015-. In 2017 they released their first album called Grupo Cayú with an entire repertoire of original compositions arranged for a sextet with the special participation of    Lito Epumer, an  excellent guitar player.  And in 2018 they presented their second album called Escenarios (Stages) which is part of the Record Club catalogue.

   Victoria and Nehuén live in San Carlos de Bariloche, Río Negro, Patagonia, Argentina. Both work as Music teachers in many places of the city.  In this province,  they have participated in many different Music festivals as "Fiesta Nacional del Curanto", "Fiesta Nacional de la Nieve", "Bariloche a la carta", "Fiesta Nacional del Folklore de Choele Choel", between others.   

  Arroyito Dúo was declared of Municipal and Cultural Interest of San Carlos de Bariloche city. They were the winners of the “Unpublished Song Contest”  of  “More Culture” project  launched in July 2020 by the Government of Rio Negro Province. They won with the song “Soy del sur”. (I’m from the south)

 Nowadays, they are presenting their third album called “Raigal”. The musical arrangements were in charge of the pianist and composer Mario Galván, and this record counts with the special participation  of  Carlos “Negro” Aguirre, a littoral folklore reference.
