Victoria de la Puente

 

 Born in 1987 in Buenos Aires (Argentina) graduated as “Superior Instrumentalist in Popular Music” with specialty in “Folklore Singing” at the Popular Music School of Avellaneda (E.M.P.A.). She has also studied Anthropological Sciences degree in Buenos Aires University for four years. When she was child, she did her first studies in Art Initiation in the Vocational Art Institute “Manuel J. De Lavarden”, Musical group workshop by the educator and musician María “Pepa” Vivanco. At the age of 15 years old, she started studying piano, musical language and then she studied singing and vocal technique – Rabine method- with Sandra Peralta. She entered to the EMPA in 2005 and continued her studies with Claudio Bróccoli, María Elía, Sonia Possetti, Jana Purita, Patricia Andrade, Lilian Saba, Laura Albarracín and Pedro Furió. She has studied singing and repertoire since 2010 with the renowned singer Silvia Iriondo who was the vocal coach in the recording of her first record edited in 2012.

   Between 2009 and 2011 she gave singing private lessons (individual and in group) in Inclán Art School, Institutional Choir F.A.T.S.A with Federico Rigoni and Collective Singing Workshop S.A.D.O.P.

    She has attended to different seminars: National Functional Voice Education by Eugene Rabine,  Fedora Aberastury system, singing and Movement with Silvina Sznajder, Movement Research with  Melanie Alfie and Acting Training Worshop by Ruben Segal and Carlos Gianni.

     As singer she participated in the creation of the Latin American folk music group “Jácara”, and she was selected as finalist in the national competition Pre- Cosquín 2008 as female solo singer. In the same way, she participated in the Atahualpa Province Revelation Awards and in two editions of the Notable Bars Competition in the city of Buenos Aires, and also in Folklore festival “My Land” and “From the new, the best” with live presentations in the SHA theatre (Argentine Hebraic Society). With this group, she recorded and produced her first record (“ A hundred flying”, 2012) with the support of the Metropolitan Culture and Arts Fund, in which participated many famous musicians as Exequiel Mantega, Silvia Iriondo and Carlos “el Negro” Aguirre. 

     In August, 2015 she dictated a course called “Vocal technique and repertoire workshop” in Estelí Music School” in Nicaragua which had a special recognition by the Estelí City Hall and the authorities of the institution.

Nehuén Rapoport

 

   He was born in San Carlos de Bariloche (Argentina) in 1986. He is a bassist, guitar player, saxophonist, arranger and composer who comes from a family of musicians. He is the son of Diego Rapoport (Pianist, ex Spinetta Jade, Arco Iris, Banda Lebon, Raíces, etc.) and the nephew of Rinaldo Rafanelli (Ex Sui Generis - Polifemo, Color Humano, etc).

   When he was 10 years old, he started studying the guitar. Later, he entered to the City Hall Young Choir and studied musical language with María del Carmen Aguilar dictated by Laura Esteves. He studied piano with his father Diego Rapoport and then electric bass.

   In 2006, he went to Buenos Aires and studied the Superior Instrumentalist in Popular Music career and completed his studies in Folklore bass speciality in the Avellaneda Popular Music School (E.M.P.A.). He studied with many teachers as  Sebastián Taty Cala, Juancho Farías Gómez, Máximo Rodríguez, Lilian Saba and Ricardo Canepa, between others. He also took private lessons of saxophone and bass with Marcelo Torres y Alejandro Giusti. “Arroyito Duo” was born in 2013. This project motivated the recording of two records and a tour of about 18 months through nine Latino American countries during 2014, 2015 y 2016 (Bolivia, Perú, Ecuador, Colombia, México, Guatemala, El Salvador y Nicaragua). The first Arroyito's album is called “Everything so calm” and was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2014); the second one is called “Moray” and was recorded in Mexico City in 2016. Both were edited in an independent way. 

        In 2016, Nehuen formed with his partner Victoria a new project called “Cayú Group” dedicated entirely to the composition and production of original music in the gestation and in the arrangements.  He is the principal composer and arranger of the band. This duo, plenty of travels and experiences, faced the formation of a new rock band, a fusion with Latin rhythms. In the middle of 2016, the first Cayu’s record was born and was called “Jointly”. It included the participation of a famous argentine rock musician, Lito Epumer as invited artist. The record was presented in important spaces of the city of Buenos Aires as San Martin Culture Centre and also in alternative places.

He was part of many bands as Totem (Rock) - Sucucho (Folclore) - Troche Moche (Latin Rock , Reggae) - Javier Benitez (Chamamé) - La Nave de los Locos (Rock Fusion) - Omar Pineda (Folclore) - Los de Enfrente (Candombe) - A los Tumbos (Folklore) - Maycown Reichembach Band - Sur Adentro (folclore). Raposalla Casaport junto Diego Rapoport, Carlos Casalla, Santiago Rapoport, Chingolo Casalla y Javier Casalla (Bajofondo).
